Nestled among the tree canopy in Kafue National Park lies Fig Tree Bush Camp where elevated luxury tents are carefully positioned for privacy and uninterrupted views — three overlooking the Shishamba River, the fourth facing open grassland and a seasonal waterhole.
Days move at their own pace. Settle beneath the shade of the camp’s namesake fig tree at the boma. Cool off in the infinity pool overlooking the waterhole or rest in the beach hammock as birdlife drifts through the camp. As the light softens, head out on a late afternoon game drive, when the wilderness begins to shift and stir.
